Americano+ ("the App") is a free, ad-supported mobile application for organizing padel tournaments. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.
Tournament Data: Tournament names, player names, scores, and match results are stored locally on your device. They are sent to a cloud service only when a game master chooses to enable Optional Cloud Tournament Sharing for that tournament.
Advertising and tracking: We use Google AdMob to show ads. The app requests non-personalized ads. AdMob may collect advertising and device identifiers, IP address and approximate location, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic data. Google uses this data to serve and measure ads, for analytics, and to prevent fraud. Learn more at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Crash reporting: We use Sentry to receive production crash and error reports. These reports can include technical and device information, diagnostic data, breadcrumb context, and a random install identifier. We use them only to diagnose and fix problems, not for advertising or cross-app tracking. Learn more at https://sentry.io/privacy/.
Local-only tournaments stay on your device and work offline. If a game master enables cloud sharing for a specific tournament, we send player display names, the match schedule (including courts and teams), submitted and confirmed scores, and a persistent anonymous Supabase user ID to Supabase in the European Union. Players can submit proposed scores from their own phones; the game master must confirm them before standings change.
Cloud sharing is opt-in, uses no email or password account, and is not used for advertising, marketing, or cross-app tracking. Cloud tournament data is kept until manually deleted; we do not automatically purge it.

Local-only tournament data is stored on your device using AsyncStorage. If you uninstall the App, your local tournament data is permanently deleted. Cloud-enabled tournament data is stored by Supabase in the European Union and is kept until manually deleted; it is not automatically purged. This does not delete data handled by advertising or crash-reporting services; see their privacy policies for their retention and controls. You can also delete local data from within the app via Profile → Delete All Data.
Google AdMob and Sentry: Google AdMob is used to display ads, and Sentry is used for crash reporting. Their privacy policies apply to the data their services handle. We block the following ad categories to maintain a sports-appropriate experience: gambling, dating, and political advertising.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can delete local tournament data by using the "Delete All Data" option in the app's Profile section or by uninstalling the App. Cloud tournament data is kept until manually deleted. To request deletion, email tstdvlp@hotmail.com with your tournament name and approximate date. Do not send your private game-master recovery code. Advertising and crash-reporting data is handled by Google AdMob and Sentry under their own privacy policies and controls.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated policy will be available within the App and at this URL.
